We are looking to hire an experienced and skilled Service Technician who enjoys working in the field to assist customers with regular lift and equipment maintenance or installation. The ideal candidate for this role would bring 2+ years of experience in the industry and a background in mechanical or electrical work, lift installation, troubleshooting and knowledge of automotive lift and hoist systems. Millwright or certified automotive mechanic experience preferred but not required.
We are wanting someone driven, with great customer service skills who will represent our brand proudly. Daily duties include service and inspection of automotive lift systems and tire changer, mechanical and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair, inspection of work order, site surveys /consultation for lift installation and most importantly adhere to safety procedures ensuring a safe working environment.
What you need to know:
This is a full-time, temporary to permanent employment opportunity
Location: Surrey, BC
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Shift time: 8:30AM-5:00PM
Salary: $60,000-$75,000
This position requires a Class 5 drivers license in good standing; use of a company vehicle
You are comfortable travelling to customer sites on a weekly basis

You are legally permitted to work full-time in British Columbia and are located in the Surrey region

Responsibilities
-Service and inspection of automotive lift/hoist, tire changer and balancer, etc.
-Mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting/repair
-Complete, present and file inspection/service reports/work orders
-Upsell replacement for wear items and/or equipment accessories
-Site survey/consultation for lift installation
-Follow all safety procedures ensuring a safe working environment at all times
-Company service van cleanliness and mechanical maintenance(company paid maintenance expenses)
-Work in all weather conditions
-General site clean up upon completion of all projects
-Keep up to date with training and certification through company sponsored programs
Qualifications
-Millwright or certified automotive mechanic experience considered a huge asset for this role
-A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
-This position requires a Class 5 drivers license in good standing; use of a company vehicle
-Strong mechanical troubleshooting background and experience with electrical systems/wiring diagrams
-Ability to perform manual (hands-on) work that requires good dexterity and coordination skills.
-Use of tools both mechanical and electrical is required
-Team player, adaptable, and energetic with a positive professional attitude when working individually or as a team
-Are great at communicating with others in both verbal and written format
-The right candidate will have a positive attitude, up beat energy and is comfortable to be trained on new processes
-You are looking for a Permanent, long-term employment opportunity
-You can meet schedule and shift requirements
-You are legally permitted to work full-time in British Columbia and are located in the Surrey region
