You would be responsible for ensuring shipping/ receiving tasks and production needs are met in a timely manner, coordinating incoming and outgoing shipments, preparing customer orders, utilizing computer software, inventory management, etc.

Responsibilities
- Basic Shipping / Receiving duties and tasks as required
- Maintaining tracking logs and database entries
- Preparing production to meet customer deadlines
- Schedule and coordinate the incoming and outgoing shipments effectively and efficiently based on priorities of due dates
- Ordering trucks from various carriers and tracking/following up with scheduled shipments as necessary
- Lead a small team to accomplish tasks as required for the final preparation and assembly of various products
- Comfortable lifting 50-60 lbs and being able to do so repetitively
- Reviewing the quality of the finished product prior to skidding/crating to ensure it meets company standards
- Operating counterbalance forklifts and pump trucks as needed
- Ensuring appropriate maintenance is performed on department equipment
- Assisting team with any general labour tasks to complete orders as needed
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in shipping/receiving is an asset
- Experience operating forklifts and pump trucks
- Valid external forklift license is required
- Basic mathematical skills and ability to read metrics
