Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Coordinate with various departments to prevent delays in shipments.
- Contact carriers and organize deliveries and drop-offs.
- Participate in various trade shows both nationally and internationally.
- Perform counts and inventories.
- Adhere to hygiene and safety rules, as well as protocols related to military and hazardous materials.
- Prepare and package orders.
- Ensure that orders are undamaged and in sufficient quantity.
- Enter data into the computer using various IT systems.
- Utilize a forklift to load and unload shipments, as well as to place stock accordingly in the warehouse.
- Participate in various training sessions.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role in Dorval, you must possess the following qualifications:
- Be comfortable lifting loads up to 50 pounds.
- Possess strong computer skills.
- Have a valid driver's license and a personal vehicle.
- Be bilingual in French and English.
- Possess a valid forklift license.
- Have Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) training.
- Have ERP training.
- Have training on the handling, storage, and shipping of dangerous goods.
- Have training on Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
