Responsibilities
Shipping and Receiving: Handle all aspects of shipping and receiving operations, including verifying and documenting inbound and outbound shipments.
Forklift Operation: Safely and efficiently operate a forklift to move, stack, and load/unload materials as required.
Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and keep track of stock levels to ensure availability.
Customer Service: Interact with customers, addressing inquiries, providing information, and ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and courtesy.
Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure they meet quality standards and report any discrepancies.
Qualifications
Prior experience as a Shipper Receiver with a focus on customer service.
Valid forklift experience operating a forklift.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lift and carry packages as needed.
Organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
Knowledge of shipping software and systems is a plus.
