As the Shipper Receiver you will be receiving incoming orders, maintaining and organizing inventory, picking and packing orders, preparing pertinent documentation for shipment of goods and operating a sit down counterbalance/reach truck with safety as top priority. The position requires heavy lifting, and experience in a warehouse facility. This role is long-term, full-time and gives you an opportunity to work with an outstanding team, it is a fantastic opportunity!

This is a full-time temporary to permanent position with an immediate start date
Location: Calgary, AB

Wage: $19/hr - $21/hr
Transit accessible
Previous shipping, receiving and sit down counterbalance/reach truck experience is required.

Responsibilities
- Order Picking - filling orders
- Preparing shipments (outgoing and incoming)
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Safely operating forklifts and pallet jacks (certification preferred but not required)
- Verifying incoming orders and organizing the incoming stock in the warehouse
- Inventory control and cycle counting
- Accurate data entry including scanning and counting
Qualifications
- Previous sit-down counterbalance/reach truck Forklift and pallet jack experience, no ticket required
- A valid forklift ticket is an asset
- Previous shipping and receiving experience, understand the role entirely
- Excellent problem solving, interpersonal, computer and communication skills
- Previous experience with forklift equipment in a warehouse setting (1 Year)
- Team player, adaptable, and energetic with a positive professional attitude.
- Must be flexible to lift weight up to 50 lbs on occasional/repetitive basis (depending upon the work needs).
- Ability to work in a high-paced environment
- Able to work OT or on weekends if needed.
- A reliable means of transportation is an asset.
