Advantages
- permanent, full-time position
- benefits: after a 90-day probationary period, the shipper/receiver can get up to $500 sign-in bonus! After 90 days, the worker will also be eligible for company insurance (extended health & dental).
- pay of $19/hr to start
- day shift: 8am to 5pm (mon-fri)
Responsibilities
- maintain documents for goods expected for delivery and pick-up
- inspect goods and documentation when shipping and receiving
- store goods received from production
- keep warehouse area in clean and organized condition
- re-label products and tag outgoing products as required
- participate in physical inventory and spot checks as requested
- carry out any other duty as requested by management
Qualifications
- experience in shipping and receiving
- experience in forklift operations; forklift certification an asset
- communicate clearly and professionally
- ability to utilize technology and software to support role / position
- build constructive relationships with staff, vendors and customers
- organized
- WHMIS, TDG
