Responsibilities
As a Shipper / Receiver, a normal day would include:
- Using different forklifts to unload trailers/trucks, put away inventory, and keep the warehouse organized
- Using RF scanner to locate inventory throughout the warehouse
- A mixture of forklift and manual order picking to preparing orders for pick/delivery
- Inventory control; including reviewing packing slips, PO's, and performing cycle counts
- Shipping duties include communicating with couriers, vendors, and clients
- Assisting sales team as needed
- General warehouse duties
- Daily inspection of forklift to ensure safety
Qualifications
What do you need for this position?
- Forklift experience an asset
- Being comfortable lifted 50lbs+ consistently throughout the day as needed
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Comfortable utilizing computer
- Attention to detail and demonstrates initiative
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
