As a Shipper/Receiver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all products leaving our facility meet the highest standards of quality. Responsibilities
Order Management: Monitor System 21 for new orders and create wave picks accordingly.
Shipping Coordination: Close out LTL and truck load orders in System 21 and schedule deliveries.
Customer Communication: Notify customers of any delivery issues or delays and assist the customer service department with information on PODs and related queries.
Work Area Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized work environment using 5S principles.
Compliance: Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Material Handling: Receive all materials in the JBA Operating System (both inventory and non-inventory).
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Customer Service, Scheduling, and Manufacturing to ensure accurate and timely shipments.
Quality Assurance: Adhere to all quality assurance programs and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required.
Basic reading, math, and computer skills
Strong work ethic with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Previous customer service experience or relevant work background preferred.
Forklift license or the ability to operate a forklift and obtain a license.
Physical capability to lift 10 - 25 lbs. as needed.
