Position: Shipper/Receiver
Shift: 8am-5pm
Salary: $25/hr
Location: Mississauga

Responsibilities
Prepare and complete warehouse orders for delivery or pickup, ensuring accuracy in packing, labeling, and loading.
Arrange courier shipment paperwork and schedule pickups/deliveries.
Maintain and evaluate approved carrier lists.
Load and unload trucks with appropriate equipment.
Process warehouse and office supply orders, logging discrepancies or damages.
Inspect incoming shipments, reject damaged items, and resolve issues with shippers.
Sort and receive goods, recording transactions in SAP and addressing discrepancies.
Scan and store shipping paperwork for future reference, notifying colleagues for invoicing.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment and optimize space.
Pick parts for commissioning and customer service, placing them in project bins.
Conduct cycle counts and manage inventory tasks.
Complete daily mobile equipment inspections.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers.
Follow safety regulations and identify concerns.
Adhere to the Quality System and participate in continuous improvement and the JHSC.
Perform other assigned duties.
Qualifications
Ability to multitask
Valid counterbalance forklift license (required)
Experience in shipping and receiving
Familiarity with preparing shipping documents
Experience using RF scanners
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, employees are regularly required to speak, hear, and use basic hand tools. They will often need to walk, stand for extended periods, climb ladders, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Employees must frequently lift or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work is conducted indoors in a warehouse setting, with a typically moderate noise level.
