Responsibilities
- Perform distribution-related clerical duties
- Properly ensure accuracy of the information in the computer system
- Responsible for report and file maintenance
- File all pertinent transportation documents
- Update and maintain filing system and computer databases
- Enter trip card manifest data in the receiving system
- Create all BOL’s for internal drivers and external carriers
- Ensure internal client satisfaction through prompt and efficient service
- Administrative tasks related to the proper functioning of the department
Qualifications
- Ability to prioritize and organize a constant work flow, and maintain accurate records
- Proficient with PC standard tools and knowledgeable in a Windows environment with an emphasis on Word and Excel
- Excellent verbal, written and telephone communication skills
- Good interpersonal and customer service skills
- Detail oriented
- Initiative, capable and confident to work independently
- Able to maintain composure in a fast-paced, multi-tasked environment
