Permanent Position
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4pm
Salary: $40-$50 per hour (range based on experience and certification)

Responsibilities
As a Shop Foreman, a normal day would include:
- Responsible for all phases of repair, maintenance, and cleaning of all equipment.
- Mechanic must be able to diagnose a variety of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic problems.
- Develop and monitor responsive systems for maintaining all equipment including basic/routine preventative maintenance and major/minor repairs.
- Maintain/file service records for all equipment.
- Test repaired equipment for proper performance and ensure that the equipment complies with all applicable Federal/Provincial/Municipal regulations and meets manufacturers' specifications.
- Perform function tests on all equipment with the specific intention of evaluating safety-related systems.
- Carry out field service work at customer locations when required and complete work orders accurately.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization in the work area including tools, shop, shop office, and yard
Qualifications
What do you need for this position?
- 421a Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician certification
- 3+ years of experience performing diagnostics and repairs on high-reach equipment is a strong asset
- Experience training apprentices
- Valid driver's license
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities
