Position Summary:
To Manage the Vancouver shop in giving a cost-effective and quality product to our customers. Responsible for the management of the Vancouver shop.

Responsibilities
Supervision Shipping/Rentals/Warehouse
○ Supervise day to day operations of the warehouse
○ Ensure warehouse and yard are properly maintained measured by ASEC Certification
○ Keep processes in line for Rental Returns, lease returns, new equipment distribution
○ Responsible to review all Rental Billing (Parts/Labor & Approved) measured by the P&L
○ Review processes to improve efficiency and quality and reduce cost
○ Supervise shipping, rentals, RRL assets measured by the P&L
○ Ensure respect of all company policies regarding safety and procedures
○ H&S Compliance in the warehouse (all people) measured by our leading & lagging indicators
○ Inspect Rentals upon shipping or return measured by customer billed damage repairs
○ Supervise rental repairs measured by the P&L
○ Reduce Freight costs and freight recovery measured by the P&L
Shop Tech Supervision & employee relations
○ Shop Tech utilization measured by the utilization report
○ Controlling of asset in/out of the warehouse measured annual serialized asset inventory count
○ Establish dialogue between employees and internal customers.
○ Ensure employees receive the necessary training.
○ Resolve disputes.
○ Complete on the job orientation of new employees.
○ Conduct annual employee performance reviews. Ensure the reviews are accurate and keep the
technician aware of needs for future career improvement.
○ Conduct monthly meetings with the employees.
○ Keep employees up to date with all safety-related issues.
Health & Safety
○ COR Certification
○ COR maintenance
○ Accident Investigation
○ Participation in JHSC Committee
Qualifications
Relevant experience in Management capacity
Strong People Managing skills
Knowledge of complex parts of machines and trucks
Red Seal Mechanic
Lean Six Sigma
Ability to look into and analyze P&L and other business reports
