    Shop Mechanic- $25-$30/ hr - Gatineau

    Are you a Shop Mechanic with at least 1 year of experience conducting maintenance on lifts, diesel engines or construction machinery?     Permanent position
    Hours: Monday - Friday with flexible hours between 7:00 am - 5:00 pm (8 hour shifts)
    Salary: $25-$30 an hour

    Responsibilities
    As a Shop Mechanic for this great company located in Gatineau, a normal day would include:
    - complete the in-house training with designated senior mechanic dedicated to your success
    - troubleshoot and repair various equipment including telescopic, aerial, hydraulic and electric lifts
    - inspect equipment upon arrival to determine required maintenance to meet the maintenance program criteria
    - complete all documentation and requests for parts


    Qualifications
    Who is the perfect match for this position?
    - at least one year of experience conducting maintenance on lifts, diesel engines or construction machinery
    - experience troubleshooting and repairing diesel engines as well as hydraulic, electric and electronic components
    - own basic tools for the trade
    - ability to work independently within an established team that fosters a cooperative work environment
    - bilingual in French and English
