Our client is a large multinational company and leader in E-Commerce, they are looking for an Intermediate Software Developer Engineer to join their top-notch team.

Company Location: Central downtown, Montreal
Metro Access: Walking distance
Number of Openings: 2
Contract Duration: 11 months - Term
Possible Permanence: Yes

**Note: this role is open to Canadian or Permanent Citizens living in Montréal or willing to relocate on their own.

In this role, you look forward to…
• Design, develop, debug, and modifies components of software applications and tools.
• Drive technical direction at the application/product level for small to mid-sized projects.
• Design, spec, schedule and provide quality implementation of a component or feature (typically 1-3 months in duration).
• Provide alternative solutions to a given problem. Resolve problems and roadblocks, with management assistance if required.
• Follow through on details and drive issues to closure. Complete documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.
• Actively participate in group technology reviews to critique work of self and others.
• Work collaboratively with all members of technical staff. Collaborate with program management and testing peers in the development of assigned components.
• Participates in and provides input to requirements definition. Usually provides solid judgment calls and tradeoff analysis.

What we are looking for:
• A minimum of 3 to 4 years of experience as a software developer in JVM programming, AND Java.
• A good understanding of Java 8, Spring, Springboot, J2EE, Scala, Kotlin
• Work on Agile/Kanban team will be an asset.
• Fluent English (French is also an asset).
• Bachelor's degree or higher.
