Our large client is looking for an Application Developer for a six month contract in Calgary. If you are passionate about delivering high quality software that delivers exceptional customer experiences then this role might be for you! The client is looking for a consultant who is innately curious and loves to learn.

Responsibilities include:
- Work with teams to deliver high-quality, robust software solutions that focus an exceptional user experiences
- Work closely with peers and business teams
- Follow development best practices, including documentation, change management and quality standards
- Be curious and help make the customer applications even better
- Knowledge transfer
- Provide rotational on-call support when required

Required Skills:
- Experience developing web applications using modern frameworks, programming languages and technologies such as: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React, Angular, etc
- Experience implementing solutions to consume API’s with programming languages such as:
Groovy, Node , Java/SpringBoot, or similar languages
- Experience developing and maintaining automated test suites
- Knowledge of running and deploying applications to Cloud technologies
- Proven experience with numerous databases
- - Experience with Test Driven Development, modular test automation frameworks and knowledge of Page Object Model
- Knowledge of security best practices as it relates to software development and operational support
- Knowledge of DevOps, Test Driven Development and Agile
