Our client, a top 5 bank, is looking for a Sourcing Manager for an 11 month contract in Toronto. This is a based in hybrid role - either Toronto or Vancouver with 3 days per week in the office. Potential for contract extension and conversion
Pay rate: $53.29 - $56.51 / Hour
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am-4pm Monday to Friday, 7.5 hours a day. Flexibility required depending on project priorities.

Responsibilities
As a Sourcing Manager, your duties will be:
•Working with the Director, Global Procurement – Functions
•Sourcing decisions, drive supplier negotiations through RFI/RFQ/RFP or direct negotiations, draft contract terms and coordinate review by centres of governance and the law group, drive cost savings and cost avoidance efforts.
•Partnering with senior management to proactively develop negotiation and contract strategies for high risk/complex and sensitive sourcing initiatives.
•Gathering and analyzing data to create playbooks and strategies to support the different business models for services contemplated or currently under contract and prepare findings for senior management.
•Developing and negotiating complex (strategically critical, high value, or high risk) contract strategies that will provide cost effective, sustainable solutions to company businesses, and optimizing total value generated from company’s supplier base.
Qualifications
•Experience in global procurement, strategic sourcing and relationship management
•Understanding of procurement law and/or regulations
•Leads complex deals with a total contract value $3Million or more
•Business and financial Acumen
•Strong negotiation skills
•Strong contract drafting acumen
•Strong analytical skills
•Experience in leading and supporting senior leaders
•Achieving financial targets
•Growth mindset
•Appetite to professionally challenge status quo
•Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
Nice to have:
•7+ years relevant experience
•Experience with professional services and/or management consulting
•Experience with cloud software negotiations
•Category management and pipeline management
