Reporting to the Senior Manager, the Sr. IT Business Solutions Specialist will work in collaboration with various stakeholders (business clients, vendors, enterprise architects, portfolio management team, etc.) to translate business needs into functional requirements for information technology systems.

Responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Business Case Development/Documentation (70%)
Gather requirements using various techniques (e.g. brainstorming, interviews, prototypes, etc)
Facilitate workshops with business stakeholders and developers to translate requirements into functional options / solution designs
Work closely with developers to ensure tha’t solutions meet the requirements
Facilitate demo sessions with business stakeholders to validate that the solution continues to be aligned with business expectations
Conduct formal testing to verify / validate that the solution meets the business requirements
Output:
o Requirements specification document
o Current and future state process maps
o Data flow diagrams
o Gap analysis
o Functional options (solution designs)
o Use Cases and User Stories

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 6+ years of experience in Information Technology leading feasibility analysis, business cases and technical assessments

Innovative self-starter, able to work in an unstructured environment identifying risk and developing risk mitigation tools and techniques
