What does your day look like?
• Support the organization’s culture of Risk Management.
• Report risks and exceptions on a periodic basis with the Leadership and formulate action plans to remediate them.
• Maintain and report the Enterprise Risk Register with the stakeholders and Leadership on periodic basis.
• Create, update and document policies, procedures and guidelines on Information Security, IT Security and Regulatory security requirements.
• Support and conduct vendor security reviews as well as annual current vendor security re-reviews.
• Determine information security risk profiles for various IT vendors and IT Projects.

What education, experience and skillset do you bring?
• Bachelor’s degree (preferably Management Information Systems).
• One or more of the following professional certifications: CISA, CRISC, or ISO27001 LA.
• Minimum 8-10 years IT risk management experience or a combination of risk assessments, auditing and information security experience.
• Good Knowledge/experience with information/data security frameworks and privacy regulations (ISO 27001, PCI DSS, GDPR).
• Effective communication and relationship-building skills.
• Expertise in Risk identification, risk documentation, risk analysis, risk reduction and risk reporting.
• Ability to work with ambiguity, analyze situations and problem solve.
• Ability to review contracts from security and regulatory standpoint an asset.
