Our client in Waterloo is looking for a Sr. Manual Tester with 5 years of experience to join them for a 9 month contract. The successful candidate will have manual testing experience as well as at least 1-2 years of Retail experience. Some responsibilities include, experience with QA best practices, processes and tools including system, regression and smoke tests, preparing and executing successful test plans, creating test specifications cases and data as well as troubleshooting test issues and defects.

Qualifications:
* 5 years of Manual testing experience
* 4+ years of experience with Software Quality Assurance.
* 1+ years of experience with Retail, or experience with Manhattan applications
* Experience with QA best practices, processes and tools including system, regression and smoke tests.
* Experience working with both Agile and Waterfall projects
* 3-5 years experience with Oracle and SQL
* Experience preparing and execute successful testing plans
* Experience creating test specifications, test cases and test data.
* Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
* Experience troubleshooting test issues and defects by working with various teams.
*Post-secondary education in IT, development analysis preferred.
*Ability to work independently as well as in teams
*Must have initiative and be results-oriented
*Must be organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
