Sr. / Senior Project Manager - HIGH-RISE RESIDENTIAL - Ottawa

This role is overseeing the office team of about 30 people, including direct responsibility for managing a team of 5 Project Managers, guiding in the areas of pre-construction budgeting, planning, scheduling, procurement, execution, turnover and contracts closeout delivery.

We are looking for a sharp minded, business savvy individual who is highly organized, poised with strong communication skills, manages well under pressure, and previously managed a larger team including leading other leaders.

Responsibilities
● Lead project team, keeping project within budget and on schedule
● Prepare scopes of work (SOW) for Trades,
● Develop bidding strategy, assemble bid packages, administer tender process, execute contract negotiations
● Monitor Contractor / Vendor pending costs
● Liaise and report updates to stakeholders


Qualifications
● Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management
● 10 years experience within Project Management, majority preferably with a General Contractor, and must have High-Rise Residential
● 3 + years leading a team
