Our client located in Markham is looking for a backend .NET developer for a long term contract.

Back End Developer Senior –



Responsibilities

· Participate in the selection of tools and technologies

· Responsible for maximizing the maintainability and extensibility of the solutions

· Responsible for quality control of code produced including adherence to unit testing practices

· Responsible for the stabilization and support of production systems

· Support the elaboration of potential features and business requests

· Stays current in technical learning and software development practices

· Provide regular updates to project managers and their Manager and immediate updates for issues encountered



Qualifications

· Computer Science degree or related formal computer training

· 5+ years of development experience with .NET technologies

· Excellent knowledge of .NET 3.5 (or higher) web and windows services

· Strong knowledge of MSSQL including database design, T-SQL and query optimization

· Strong knowledge and practical experience of Web API’s, and MVC pattern

· 4+ years involvement with high traffic/volume web solutions

· Microsoft certifications are an asset

· Excellent communication skills

· Excellent analytic and problem-solving capabilities

· Ability to learn on the fly and find solutions and not just problems

· Experience using Kentico CMS a bonus
