The Sourcing specialists will work towards improving sourcing processes to save costs and maximize profitability without compromising product quality. They will negotiate with suppliers on finalizing best contract pricing & product quality, sample ordering & testing, lead time finalizations, and contract signing with the suppliers in coordination with internal stakeholders from production, quality, R&D etc. The sourcing specialist will also be responsible for reviewing & auditing existing vendor quality, and supply delivery in coordination with the buying team & other relevant internal/external partners.

Responsibilities
• Oversee the supply of products and services related to PVC, Aluminum, Glass, and other raw
materials related to windows & doors manufacturing, including negotiating with external suppliers
to secure advantageous terms.
• Source materials, assets, and services in accordance with policies and procedures, using cost-
effective and ethical approaches and meeting required criteria.
• Prepares and analyzes request for quotes and interprets information requests.
• Develop and maintain positive long-term relationships with internal stakeholders, external suppliers,
and vendors to optimize savings and reduce procurement costs.
• Utilizes relationships and awareness of market and marketplace to streamline current processes and
introduce initiatives to create value and overall efficiencies.
• Research, and build organizational partnerships with vendors/suppliers for various commercial &
residential projects and ensure the best possible pricing for the projects.
• Source, approve and finalize purchase orders for necessary goods and services, and overseeing site
deliveries.
• Identifies, evaluates, and escalates risks that could affect project deliverables, activities, and
schedule.
• Communicate daily with project site teams to manage the planning, purchase, dispatch, and
maintenance of the existing inventory & forecast future project needs.
• Work with Project Managers to solicit and provide information required for Project Request for
Qualifications and Project Request for Proposals.
• Assist other Divisions with the ordering of parts, office supplies or services when required.
Qualifications
➢ Bachelor’s Degree or diploma in Supply Chain / Procurement or Similar
➢ 4-5 years’ experience in buying purchasing practices, MRP, and purchasing under a lean
manufacturing system.
➢ Ability to lead delegate and provide strategic guidance to buying team members.
➢ Experience developing templates for contracts and other business transactions.
➢ Able to prioritize and drive to results with a high emphasis on quality.
➢ Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
➢ Ability to work well in a team environment.
➢ Demonstrated ability to negotiate cost effective vendor agreements.
➢ Demonstrated ability to provide superior internal and external client experience.
