Your BAS Mechanical Technician experience comes from reading schematic drawings and conducting installations of Commercial: chillers, heat pumps, boilers, air units, heat recovery air units, control systems
Must have experience with "equipment start-ups" and "Commissioning"
*Need to have excellent understanding of Building Mechanical Systems; worked with Controls, Automation, Optimization, Commissioning.

Responsibilities
- Planning and monitoring of energy projects (“plan and prepare” for commissioning)
- Solve problems or technical issues
- Participate in energy monitoring meetings
- Assist the grant monitoring team
- Plan Control work with subcontractors (budgets, schedules, equipment selection)
- Oversee and supervise subcontractors in Controls as well as plumbing and electrical
- Analyze the operation of equipment at completion of projects
- Participate in the start-up of mechanical equipment and controls commissioning
- Respond to service calls
Qualifications
Preferred: Technologist or Engineer or 6+ years field experience installing commercial Controls/HVAC systems
Sound knowledge of Mechanical and Plumbing, an asset
