    YOUR ROLE AS A SUPERVISOR – MAINTENANCE AND RELIABILITY:
    The main objective of the position is to improve the reliability of production equipment while helping to reduce maintenance costs. He manages his team to reduce the quantity and duration of failures by prioritizing critical equipment and by mobilizing the maintenance team on the strategic challenges of reliability. Under the direction of the Continuous Improvement Manager, the Supervisor – Maintenance and Reliability is responsible for managing the technical and specialized workforce in the technical packaging sector. The incumbent supervises preventive maintenance programs, support for integration of new products and capitalization, health and safety, automation, etc.

    Responsibilities
    •Manage the workforce of the technical packaging sector (i.e. Maintenance Planner, Technicians, Electrotechnicians and Machinists);
    •Develop and implement maintenance strategies in order to increase the reliability of equipment (predictive, preventive, systematic replacement, modification, etc.);
    •Perform technical reports, manage performance indicators and reliability action plans;
    •Administrate the preventive maintenance program, that is to say follow up on the independent maintenance sheets made by the production people, follow up on the planned verifications and corrective actions;
    •Word to reduce downtime through, among other things, a weekly review of the main planning with the packaging manager, establishing a method for format change and race start, the development of tools that will reduce the start-up time and training of the various stakeholders;
    •Manage automation and workforce reduction projects, that is, identify projects and conduct feasibility studies, as well as ensure compliance with the approval process and deadlines;
    •Ensure that OHS objectives are met: analyze trends, set up an intervention plan and coach your team in this regard;
    •Carry out any other related tasks or projects assigned by the immediate superior.


    Qualifications
    •Bachelor’s in mechanical, industrial or automated engineering, or any other field of study that is related to employment;
    •A minimum of 5 years of experience in managing a technical team of more that ten people;
    •Experience in a pharmaceutical environment (an asset);
    •Mastery of methods of analysis and problem solving;
    •Lean Six Sigma certification an asset (green belt)
    •Knowledge and experience of implementing practices and procedures aimed at operational excellence;
    •Bilingualism (French and English, oral and written).

    •Interpersonal skills, thoroughness, good leadership, ability to manage change;
    •Autonomy and resourcefulness;
    •Dynamism and creativity;
