We have an opportunity available in the Mississauga area near Laird and the Collegeway as a warehouse supervisor.

The Outbound supervisor reports to the Facility Manager and plays a key role in managing the day-to-day operational requirements for the business. Ensure SOP’s are being followed and KPI targets are met or exceeded. The Outbound Supervisor will be the “go to” point of contact for all Outbound related issues and be responsible for removing potential “roadblocks” to ensure their team is successful in their daily duties. The Outbound Supervisor will work closely with the Inbound supervisor on staffing levels, to ensure a smooth workflow throughout the facility.

Title: Warehouse Supervisor (Outbound)

Shift: 8AM – 5PM Mon-Fri

Location: Laird and The Collegeway (South Mississauga)

Pay: $25.00/hr ($52,000/yr)

What will you be responsible for?
- Responsible for orders flowing through the facility
- Client forward pick area setup and organization
- Light building maintenance
- Represent the order Outbound process and area to clients and business contacts
- In absence of Facility/Ops Manager (based on seniority and experience) assume leadership over the facility
- Directly oversee order Outbound staff in leadership roles
- Communicate and coordinate with department supervisors to ensure flow and throughput is optimized
- Ensure adequate staff levels to maintain order throughput
- Working with other departments to ensure their staffing needs are met; work permitting
- Approve all time segments for leads under the direct supervision
- Make sure staff is adequately cross-trained and capable of performing different roles
- Ensure staff understands and follows client-specific processes to optimize client satisfaction
- Prepare and deliver yearly performance evaluations and non-scheduled performance plans
- Communicate with clients on outbound-related topics
- Carry out special client instructions
- Carry out compliance-related tasks for orders
- Ensure that all special client requests and projects have appropriate charges

Qualifications:
- 2-3+ years in Leadership/Supervisory role in 3PL/Distribution Centre environment with 10+ direct reports
- MHE skills and experience
- Highly detail and oriented
- Organizational and time management skills
- Basic computer skills (Email, Excel, Word and web browsing)
- Creativity and problem solving
- Ability to communicate to and listen effectively when relating to coworkers, administration, clients and drivers
- Good communication and presentation skills
