Responsibilities
Day to Day Role & Responsibilities
•Identify improvement opportunities in the supply chain, including supplier management processes, inventory management, scheduling and planning
•Analyze data from ERP, APS and MES to make optimal decisions
•Lead cross-functional teams in the design and implementation of process changes
•Review material requirements with Account Management teams and manage stocking programs with suppliers
•Provide backup to the purchaser and scheduler as needed
•Lead production meetings
•Supervise the projects and day-to-day work of an intern
•Other duties may be assigned as required.
•Ensure compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act is maintained at all times and recommend measures to improve health and safety
Qualifications
Qualifications
•University/College degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or a related field;
•1 to 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset
•Excellent analytical and project management skills
•Demonstrated time management skills, ability to multi-task
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
•Professional presence with an ability to interact well with all levels of staff
•Ability to work under tight deadlines
•Ability to work in an unstructured, fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
