Our client in London has partnered with Randstad Engineering in their search for a Supply Chain Manager to join their team! Reporting to the General Manager, The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for the establishment, maintenance and operation of the company's supply chain processes, including providing direction, leadership, planning, and change management oversight to the Planning, Procurement, Distribution and Logistics personnel.

In this role, responsibilities would include:
• Managing Supply Chain activities, including plant scheduling, purchasing, inventory management, shipping & receiving
• Create and clearly communicate supply schedules, priorities, and status to multiple internal and external stakeholders
• Design, develop and maintain scalable and reliable analytical tools, dashboards, and metrics that drive key decisions and resource prioritization
• Serve as a key member of the Supply Chain team in helping to define and deliver complex supply chain strategies
• Produce written recommendations and insights for key stakeholders to help shape solution design
• Handle multiple projects at once, deal with ambiguity and rapidly-changing priorities
• Establish and maintain appropriate and accurate inventory levels
• Analyze fluctuations in demand and capacity, and communicate updates to suppliers through the supply management process
• Ensure compliance with policies, standards and procedures governing the procurement and delivery of products and services for assigned product categories
• Develop reports and procedures to achieve key internal operating targets
• Provide oversight on inventory needs assessments based on operational needs and inventory levels
• Developing and maintaining effective cost control measures and maintaining departmental budget
• Utilize ERP modules including DRP, MRP, and MPS to establish materials and production plans to meet demand within inventory, cost, service level requirements and constraints.
• Interact with distribution, manufacturing, sales, marketing, forecasting and new product development teams to clearly understand the demand requirements as part of the S&OP process.

As a qualified candidate, you meet the following requirements:
• 10+ years of progressive experience in a Supply Chain/Logistics Management role, Procurement or Materials Management
• Post secondary education in related field
• Demonstrated understanding of integrated supply chain and logistics concepts and theories
• Demonstrated work experience of successful "Just in Time" (JIT) management required
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices is an asset
• Exceptional forecasting ability with strong analytical and interpretive skills
• Working experience in the Food Manufacturing industry is preferred
• Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills
