Development of parting lines, component files and weld sketches for new parts and/or engineering changes
Developing of customer or shop driven tool changes
Responsible for saw cut sketches to the shop floor
Development of part geometry initiated by the customer
Responsible for part concessions and proposals
Verify and confirm part shrinkage and die draw to customer requirements
Follows company safe work practices and procedures
Prepares and maintains documentation as required
Other duties and special projects as determined by the Design Leader

Responsibilities

Minimum of 2 years exposure in a mold making environment with emphasis on part and parting lines
Knowledge of surfacing software a plus
Familiar with quality standards
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
