    Our client's Optical Distribution Center located in Etobicoke has an IMMEDIATE opening for a Surfacing Technician/General labour

    TITLE: GENERAL LABOUR (SURFACING TECHNICIAN)

    Location: 347 Evans Ave., Etobicoke, ON M8Z 1K2

    What will you be doing?
    - Operate the equipment used to fine and polish all lenses going through the surfacing department
    - Quality control
    - Making adjustments accordingly
    - Responsible for basic operation, cleaning and ongoing maintenance of laboratory tools

    SHIFT:
    Day Shift Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm $17/hr
    Afternoons 4:30pm - 12.30am $18.25/hr
    Nights 11:30pm - 8am (Monday to Friday) $18.75/hr

    -Machine operator experience is an asset
    -Mechanically inclined
    -Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
    -Comfortable with occasional heavy lifting 30-50lbs
    -Basic Computer Skills
