Responsibilities
-Load and strap product on to truck according to sequence report.
-Scan product into system.
-Navigation of transportation routes to deliver product within city location or region.
-Locate address and assist in reading maps and/or GPS systems, choosing the best route for delivery.
-Provide assistance to the driver in backing up and unloading truck.
-Review the packing slops to ensure product is at correct customer site, advising driver of problems.
-Assist in customer inquiries or concerns as directed by driver.
-Provide general maintenance to vehicle as required.
-Physically move product on/off truck to customer requested location on job site.
-May be required to drive delivery truck from time to time
-Various tasks within Shipping as required
Qualifications
-minimum Grade 12 education
-Good communication skills
-Able to read and follow maps
-Good area knowledge of the city
-Able to follow directions
-Strong work ethic and physically fit
-Must pass pre-employment Physical Testing
-Must pass pre-employment Drug and Alcohol Testing
