Citrix System Administrator

As a system administrator for remote solutions offered by the production team, you will play a key role in ensuring that we provide our employees with the best remote work experience and assistance in achieving ambitions key strategies. You would like to join a dynamic team working in the video game industry in the Montreal region.

Your role will be to...

·Support game development teams with dynamic technical requirements, across multiple sites, to ensure they get the most out of the team's core service offerings;

·Perform system administration and remote work technology management to maintain a high level of service availability, continuous improvement and to ensure optimal performance of tools and applications for our remote staff;

·Provide advice and guidance to clients and various stakeholders by demonstrating a sense of responsibility and professionalism in the context of remote working technologies and other assigned projects;

·Participate in the design and implementation of remote work technologies and projects;

·Manage and support the Microsoft Windows server and the Linux server farm by ensuring that the servers are deployed, secure, running in optimal states and that the selected software updates are applied:

·Participate in the selection process of hardware, software or other solutions belonging to the production services team;

·Collaborate with the DevOps team to ensure that public / private cloud applications and services work on a solid foundation to reach and exceed service levels.

You have the following qualifications;

·Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience

·5 years of experience in managing Microsoft on-site and cloud technologies in a multi-site or large production environment

·5 years of experience in Linux server management

·Experience managing remote work technologies such as Citrix or Teradici

·Experience with a public cloud and cloud concepts, an asset

·Mastery of Microsoft server technologies

·Mastery of Microsoft cloud technologies (o365, Azure)

·Working knowledge of VoIP telephony

·Practical knowledge of remote working technologies (RDP, HDX, VPN)

·Working knowledge of Linux distributions in an enterprise environment (Centos, Redhat, Ubuntu)

·Working knowledge of container backend and daily operations (Docker, Kubernetes), an asset

·Working knowledge of monitoring concepts and operations (Solarwinds), an asset

Interpersonal skills

·Excellent sense of service to internal customers and employees

·Ability to complete projects with minimal supervision

·Attention to detail and problem solving

·Good communication skills

·Ability to quickly learn new concepts and technologies and adapt to a constantly changing environment

·Willing to work outside normal office hours

·Passion for video games is essential!
