    Role Summary

    Looking for a candidate who is very hands-on with application troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. This is not a developer position but more of an (APPLICATION SUPPORT and MAINTENANCE for Mission-critical solution) role wherein the candidate would have 4 hours to resolve the technical support issue. Documentation of troubleshooting steps, resolving the case, and knowledge transfer is a major part of the role


    Strong technical development background and experience in resolving complex business and application problems

    Experienced candidate with strength in analyzing system problems, designing solutions, implementing changes, and configuring and installing software

    Hands-on experience in .NET framework, Office 365, Excel with embedded macros and SharePoint, Azure cloud technology, Microsoft SQL Server & Microsoft SQL Server Management Studi, o and working knowledge of all aspects of Windows Servers

    Working knowledge of monitoring and notifications in Azure Cloud, creating notifications scripts, changing monitoring capabilities as per the operations needs, troubleshooting, and performing analysis of the solutions los .

An opportunity to be involved in IT and telecommunications infrastructure used within the Ambulance Communication Centres across the province critical applications and technologies in 24x7 mission-critical 911 call-taking and ambulance dispatch functions:

    Responsibilities
    Maintaining users, user groups and permissions in Azure Active Directory.
    Renew and deploy security certificates for on-prem and cloud solutions.
    Assist with application deployment to Azure GoCloud using DevOps pipelines.
    Monitoring health of cloud services for errors, failures, load spikes, cost spikes, periods of inactivity, DB performance and identification of the root cause.

    Qualifications
    · 10+ years of experience in supporting, maintaining mission critical applications.

    · 10+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server & Microsoft SQL ServerManagement Studio.

    · Writing Python and SQL script for custom Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) application installations running on Microsoft SQL Server 2016, Microsoft Analysis Services Client Tools, Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC), Microsoft MSXML on a .NETFramework

    · Experience working with GitHub and team-collaboration tools (Confluence and Jira)

    · Experience in development, support & maintenance of real-time and near real-time data processing services

    · Experience in managing various Production and non-Production environments to provide stable working environment to ensure effective Service delivery
