Our Richmond, British Columbia client is seeking to hire a Systems Integration Tester, on a six-month contract with a strong probability of extension. What you’ll be doing?
As a Systems Integration Tester with our Richmond client, you will:
• Perform system level integration and test of all software components, ensuring their compatibility to meet program technical, schedule, cost and quality objectives.
• Analyze user stories and identify test scenarios that are relevant to the business.
• Develop, document and execute detailed, comprehensive and well-structured software test specifications, test analyses and compatibility of software and functional interfaces.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, execute and report on testing activities.
• Assist developers with unit testing (what to cover/avoid and how to effectively test components).
• Identify chances of code refactoring to make the product more suitable for automation.
• Analyze the product and identify the best automation approach for the platform.
How do you qualify?
• 5+ years’ product testing experience.
• 5+ years’ experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular 2+.
• 5+ years’ experience with, REST API, C#, T-SQL.
• 5+ years’ experience with test automation frameworks and tools (Cypress, Karma, Jest).
• 5+ years’ experience with Azure DevOps, JIRA or TFS (Azure DevOps preferred).
• 5+ years’ experience working with agile methodologies and techniques (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, Test-Driven Development, Continuous Integration).
• Good understanding of engineering for the web: client/server architecture, REST, etc.
• Knowledge of browser troubleshooting and debugging practices, techniques and tools (Postman, Fiddler).
• Familiarity with cross browser compatibility testing.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

What additional experience do you bring?
• Experience with non-functional testing (i.e. performance, load, security) an asset.
• Familiarity with web accessibility an asset.
• Experience with software version and/or configuration management control systems an asset.
