Responsibilities
-Actively works to secure a viable talent pool, promotes employer branding and career events
-Screens and attends interviews to ensure cultural match, qualifications and career direction insights provided to hiring managers.
-Leads the social media recruitment activities by joining/interacting with local community and jobs pages/groups to promote open positions and foster engagement and referrals.
-Administers with the recruitment and hiring process, including advertising open positions, reviewing resumes, coordinating and conducting interviews, conducting reference and background checks, drafting offer letters
-Enhances and administers the Applicant Tracking System(s), works within the HRIS system(s) as well.
-Provides customer service, both in-person and by telephone; screen and direct telephone calls; take and relay messages; answer questions from employees regarding human resources topics, rules, and regulations; respond to employment verification requests, salary and benefit surveys, and other requests for information
-Supports retention initiatives, Administration and employment recordkeeping/files ensuring compliance, data integrity and information security
-Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of HR department and services performed
-Participates in other HR functions as a part of a team
-Perform other duties or special projects as required or assigned
Qualifications
-Certificate, diploma or degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related discipline
-Three plus years’ experience as a recruiter, with in-depth knowledge of best practices
-Three plus years’ experience with employer branding and recruitment marketing
-Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)
-Bilingual (French/English)
-Strong project and relationship management experience
