Are you a recent accounting or commerce graduate with previous experience supporting seasonal tax processing? Do you have strong knowledge of personal income tax legislation, and previous administrative experience? Would you enjoy an opportunity to work with one of the leading global accounting firms? If so, we have an excellent opportunity for you! We are currently looking for a Tax Administrator to support our client, one of the big 4 accounting firms, in their Downtown Calgary office.

In this role you will work full time hours on a 3 month assignment, and earn a pay rate if $18 per hour. As a Tax Administrator you will be responsible for supporting the seasonal tax business with the assembly and finalization of electronic tax returns. This will include but not be limited to the following:

• Assembling and finalizing tax returns electronically.
• Organizing, photocopying and scanning tax payer slips and other documents.
• Organizing and maintaining the business areas.
• Collecting and delivering folders to staff.
• Reception coverage when required.
• Filing final documents into LoS repositories (eg Tax DMS), if requested.
• Printing/formatting of Excel or Google documents

• Gain experience working for a globally recognized accounting firm
• Work full time hours on a 2.5 month assignment (overtime hours may be required)
• Earn a rate of $18 per hour
• Downtown Calgary, AB location

• 1+ year of tax related experience preferred
• Strong communications and ability to collaborate with internal and external partners
• Solid understanding of MS Office, including strong Word and Excel skills
• Knowledge of and experience with PDF programs
• High attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently and in a team
