Our client in Mississauga is looking for a Technical Infrastructure Project Manager with datacenter experience to join their team on a 8 month contract. You will demonstrate advanced project management experience implementing VMware (ideally NSX) as well as best practices, EMC VMax SAN/NAS migration, VM migration, IT process Change management, and total project life cycle. Responsibilities
Some responsibilities include but not limited to:
Accurately define project scope, goals, and measurable objectives, with collaborative input from functional / business teams and external suppliers where appropriate
Budget forecasting, budgeting, and tracking
Proactively identify, maintain, and communicate project risks and risk mitigation strategies
Lead large, complex, and cross-functional project teams and sub-team activities (internal and external resources)
Define project, tasks, assign responsibility and estimate resource skills and requirements in a detailed project plan
Create and manage accurate and detailed project schedules and resource plans based on defined scope
Qualifications
5-10 years years related Project Management and Agile field experience
5+ years of Technical Infrastructure Project Management, experience with datacenters and Implementing VMware + VM migrations
Successful end to end implementations (infrastructure)
Experiencing managing enterprise level projects, accountable for project deliverables and results
Lead a team with more than 10 team members preferred
Ability to work closely with Process Owners and other key stakeholders to communicate progress and vision and facilitate buy-in
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in dealing with all levels of the business
NICE TO HAVE:
Experience with SAP and or Security Project experience
