Responsibilities
-Ability to understand and analyze current production/extrusion processes, team composition and skills, identify gaps or opportunities for improvement, and lead continuous improvement projects
-Coordinate all production activities with cross-functional teams
-Provide timely and accurate feedback/information to Quality team, to ensure that all production related goals and measurables are being met
-Clear and consistent communication with upper management
-Team leading/building functions (hiring, termination, dealing with challenging employees, etc)
Qualifications
-Technical engineering background
-Significant experience with vinyl extrusion or related processes
-Deep knowledge of associated production and manufacturing equipment, pertaining to extrusion
