Our client, a Top 5 Bank, is looking for a Technical Service Officer for a 12 month contract in Downtown Toronto! Do you have previous programming experience and have knowledge surrounding Front End Web Development? If so, this is a great opportunity for you!

Pay Rate: $19.55/ hour

Hours: Mon-Fri 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM

As a Technical Service Officer your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- The main function of the role is confirming transaction details using various methods of confirmation including phone, fax, swift and email .
- Using a large number of Excel macros. They will be finding improvements and efficiencies in current jobs
- Manage settlement processing and reporting for local and global equity and/or fixed income trades via our depositories
- Ensure documentation retained for audit purposes is accessible, organized and filed according to department procedures

- Work for a top 5 bank
- TTC accessible
- Potential for permanent opportunities (other candidates have moved to the securities department to be analysts)
- Long term contract
- Regular business hours
- Work with an open and friendly team
- Get to work in operations training environments

- Recent web development experience
- Programming experience (VBA, Python, Alteryx, etc.)
- Advanced Excel skills
- Customer service experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Exceptional English communication skills
- Fast typing speed (60 wpm)
