Do you have experience in Deskside Support looking for your next opportunity?Are you looking for your next contract?We are pleased to offer you this new and exciting CONTRACT requirement with our client for the position of:Deskside Support-Start: ASAP-Estimated length: 6+ months-Location: Halifax NSPLEASE NOTE: This position requires you to be ONSITE AdvantagesYou will have an opportunity to work for our client who is a leading employer within the city.ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible for providing end user support to end users as well as deploying standard equipment as required.QualificationsYour experience in Deskside Support includes:-Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Network Administration or other relevant field -2+ years in an enterprise IT environment supporting end users-Experience supporting desktop applications - Windows 7, 10, Office Suite, Internet Explorer 11, Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, SCCM remote control, SharePoint, Juniper Remote access -Experience with supporting end user computing technologies - desktops, laptops, handheld devices, mobile devices -Experience deploying new devices to users as required-Strong communication skills with an uncompromising focus on delivering an excellent customer experience-Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and escalate technical issues through to resolution NICE TO HAVE:-Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Exchange, Active Directory, and other Office applications-ITIL Foundations or working knowledgePHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSThis role requires that you are able to lift computer equipment (30+lbs)You are able to easily bend down, crawl and move around easily without any physical restrictions in order to complete the tasksPLEASE NOTE:Due to Security Clearance requirements, you must have lived in Canada for the last 5 yearsSummaryDo you have this experience?
