Our client in the Waterloo region is looking for a technical System Analyst to join their team on a 6 month contract with likely extension.
In this role you will be working with agile/scrum and waterfall, along side other IT members, business units, vendors to design solutions based on the business requirements. You will also be required to support the design/development/implementation phase. IE: For waterfall projects, conducting system analysis and creating design documents as well as participating, supporting, testing, and implementations. For Agile/Scrum projects you will be supporting Programmers/Analysts through the projects. This role also requires someone with experience with Agile deliverables, high level documents and design from the Waterfall methodologies ie: Logical/Physical Application design document/diagrams, showing what technologies will be used to deliver the business solution...etc

Qualifications
* 5+ years in System Analyst/Technical System Analyst
* 3+ years experience with design - ie system flow experience, understanding of moduels and tables, order tables and when an order table is needed..etc
* Relational Database experience
* 5 years experience with Agile/Scrum and Waterfall
* Ideally 2+ years experience with Oracle
* Understanding of ITIL or SDLC
* Experience providing leadership, coaching, and mentoring to other team members.
* Experience or involvement with selecting/procuring services and software from vendors
