    Working closely with the estimating and business development teams, you will write and edit content to a high standard
    and take responsibility for the creation and management of proposal documents. Working with internal and external
    teams, you will be responsible for writing submission documents for tenders, Request for Proposals (RFP) and
    Contractor Prequalifications. You have a strong persuasive voice to promote our strengths while remaining receptive to
    a client’s needs. You have investigative mind, able to delve into and comprehend technical language as well as the
    nuances of the industry

    Responsibilities
    • Lead the technical writing of all RFP, RFQ, prequalification’s.
    • General Contractor prequalification’s and updates.
    • Coordinate and manage Whissell branded submission documents.
    • Meeting with and interviewing key stakeholders regarding content for the proposals.
    • Writing technical content for the proposals and branded collateral.
    • Proof-reading / sub-editing and re-writing content.
    • Assisting with the preparation of presentations and other documents.
    • Keeping up to date the library of submissions.
    • Producing and updating project profiles and archive.
    • Manage, create, and update all corporate resumes for submissions.
    • Work quickly, efficiently and work on multiply projects simultaneously.
    • Work under pressure with hard closing dates for submissions.
    • Innovate and improve upon current processes.

    Qualifications
    • 5 years previous experience as a technical writer
    • Bachelor’s degree in Communications or marketing or equivalent experience.
    • Experience in construction, expertise within civil construction preferred.
    • Experience submitting bids and writing proposals within the construction sector.
    • Ability to juggle workload and deliver multiple projects within demanding timeframes.
    • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite.
    • Basic understanding of blueprints.
    • Organized with strong attention to detail.
    • Ability to analyse and synthesize complex content.
    • Excellent writing and proofreading skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal, management, leadership skills.
