Our established Vancouver client is seeking to hire a Technology Billing Analyst, on a long term contract with a strong probability of extension. What you’ll be doing?
As a Technology Billing Analyst with our Vancouver client, you will:
• Partner with Accounts Payable and external vendors to ensure invoices are properly routed for centralized coding purposes.
• Validate invoice amounts against forecasts, past invoices, time reporting systems and other sources of truth.
• Work with vendors to troubleshoot and resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Code invoices against appropriate department cost centers and forward coded invoices for approval based on budget ownership and chart of authority amounts.
• Raise risks associated to invoice timing, amounts and budget alignment.
• Create purchase requisitions and purchase orders on behalf of project managers and technology leadership.
• Perform regular audits to identify billing errors or services that can be terminated.
• Drive proactive ad-hoc financial analysis by identifying what information is needed, where the data can be found and how it should be compiled, analyzed & presented.
• Develop financial reporting to assist Technology leadership in cost management and decision-making.
• Provide recommendations to Technology leadership for opportunities to drive down costs based on financial analysis.
• Develop data and financial models to assist in estimating future spend and trends.
• Create process flows and documentation to support and communicate ongoing Business Operation processes.
• Assist department owners with annual budgeting and monthly forecasting for multiple technology cost centers.

How do you qualify?
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, IT, Business Administration or related field.
• 2-3 years’ billing and invoicing experience.
• 3-5 years’ experience with Excel (pivot tables, macros, v-lookups).
• 3-5 years’ experience working in a financial or accounting capacity.
• 3-5 years’ experience with PO/invoice issuing/tracking.
• 1-2 years’ experience with billing Systems.
• Coupa PO to pay and contract to pay experience.
