Responsibilities
Your job as a transportation clerk will be to ensure that the department is efficient in coordinating and obtaining all of its transportation requirements and conditions.
Issue shipping department report once a week, for shipped and uninvoiced.
Take charge of the emails received concerning the carriers who did not come to pick up the goods in order to validate the expected time of arrival.
Private client account management.
Process urgent quotes, required by customer service regarding the costs of small parcels that must leave the same day. Attach delivery documents to sales documents in order to keep records up to date.
Affix company stamp to shipping documents.
Submit quotes to carriers for small packages.
Assign items in various delivery documents.
Follow up on shipments with delivery date using the file.
Qualifications
To be selected for an interview for this position, you must:
Have 2-3 years of relevant experience in logistics and transport
Have excellent computer skills
Perfect command of English (95% of calls come from the southern United States)
