Responsibilities
- Oversee dock operations establish priorities
- Plan and set up unloading of inbounds-monitor for efficiency and accuracy.
- Plan, coordinate and manifest all 1st run deliveries, assign pick-ups for Drivers-monitoring for efficiency. (approx. 6-8 daytime drivers)
- Assist in OS&D issues and reporting. Dock checks.
- Train and further educate new and existing employees on procedures, paperwork and policies
- Complete and process all Overnight Warehouse Employee Time in ADP.
- Assist Operations where required.
- Assist Warehouse Supervisor where required.
- Assist Terminal Manager where required.
Qualifications
- Previous operational experience working within the Transportation environment is an asset.
- Knowledge of warehousing, the transportation industry and Montreal/Quebec areas.
- Proficient computer skills and use of Truckmate.
- Able to multi task in a busy environment, excellent communication and organizational skills
- Bilingualism is a must
