job description

Responsibilities:

Coordinate transportation planning efforts for large-scale high-profile projects.

Represent the company at public and private sector meetings, including presentations
and hearings.

Oversee project teams and ensure work is completed on time and within budget.

Lead and/or assist in the acquisition of public sector engineering projects in the GTA and
beyond.

Education:

P-Eng license from PEO or equivalent certification and ability to license in Ontario.

8-15 years of experience in the transportation engineering industry.

Extensive knowledge of transportation engineering including but not limited to the
following:

Traffic operations, modelling and simulation tools.

All relevant Ontario municipal, regional and provincial standards and requirements.

Experience with traffic impact studies, construction staging analysis, functional planning
for transportation infrastructure, transportation safety analysis and transit studies.

Experience with clear and concise report composition both written personally and
directed in a team environment.

Ability to present reports and answer complex questions in meetings with public and
private sector clients.

Experience in the following areas would also be an asset: transportation master plans
(MEA process), secondary planning policies, highway safety and design, construction
management plans, railway safety and design.

Eligibility for RAQS registration is an asset.
