    Are you a journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic specializing in freight trucks (or Diesel engines) looking for work?
    Looking for a company where you can mentor heavy duty mechanic apprentices, and support them on their career path?

    You will be working for Canada's premier tank and trailer supplier performing, CVIP inspections, service and repairs of all makes of tank trailers custom fabrication and modification, tank mounts and remounts.

    - Day Shift 7:30 AM to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday

    Responsibilities
    - Utilize inspection experience to trouble and repair freight trucks
    - Trouble shoot, repair, upgrade and rebuild freight trucks and trailers. This includes regulated work on electrical systems, diagnosis of scanners, brakes, suspensions, etc.
    - Provide quotes to management and clients on length of time needed for repairs / upgrades, as well as understand parts needed.
    - Communicate with management quality of part, and discuss parts source improvements if needed
    - Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of trucks and trailer systems including: electrical and electronic systems, trailer landing gear assemblies / hitching and coupling systems, trailer bodies, trailer suspension parts, tires, wheels, rims, hubs, and axles, air and auxiliary systems, trailer braking systems, hydraulic systems, using hand tools and other specialized repair equipment.
    - Test and adjust repaired systems to the manufacturer's performance specifications.
    - Perform scheduled maintenance service.
    - Duties may be performed in a confined space, which involves climbing ladders and working above the ground.


    Qualifications
    Must be a Journeyman (or Red Seal) Heavy Duty Mechanic / HD technician
    C.V.I.P. are necessary
    - Mechanically inclined.
    - Good communication skills, and able to speak with customers
    - Experience in Trailers is an asset.
    - Excellent organizational skills.
    - Attention to detail.
    - Must be able to work independently.
    - Welding an asset.
