    Truck and Transport Technician $35 - $38/hr East Winnipeg

    Are you a skilled Truck and Transport or Heavy Duty Mechanic? If you are seeking a Monday to Friday daytime role in a friendly shop environment, apply now!

    This shop services and repairs fleet vehicles that may typically be equipped with hydraulic cranes, compressors or rail vehicle attachments. Training and coaching is provided for specialized utility vehicle attachments.

    This shop is located in East Winnipeg and is not bus route accessible. Reliable transportation is required.

    Permanent position
    Hours: Monday - Friday daytime hours
    Salary: $35 - $38 an hour (based on certification and experience)

    Responsibilities
    Duties;
    -Reporting directly to the Service Advisor for job briefing
    -Receive a paper copy of the work order with the required inspections or repairs
    -Bring the vehicle into the shop and perform the inspection and diagnosis
    -Report findings to the Service Advisor.
    -Upon customer approval of repairs, technicians will perform required repairs, corrective actions and retest the unit to ensure proper operation.

    Qualifications
    Qualifications;
    -Truck Transport or Heavy Duty ticket
    -Must be able to perform MB Safety Inspections
    -Utility/crane/railway maintenance experience an asset
    -Reliable transportation required - not bus route accessible
