Are you an experienced UI Engineer with a passion for designing, developing, testing and delivering world-class websites/applications? Our established Vancouver client, one of the largest international financial institutions in the world, is seeking to hire several UI Engineers on a long term contract with a high possibility of extension. What you’ll be doing?
As a UI Engineer with our Vancouver client, you will:
• Develop Adobe AEM 6.x and CQ 5.x websites.
• Create/develop AEM templates and components using AEM, JAVA, JSP, XML, JavaScript, JSON and HTML / DHTML.
• Design, implement, test and deploy enterprise scale Angular 2 web applications.
• Design/develop service interfaces and system integration in AEM to/from external systems and web services.

How do you qualify?
• 6+ Years’ Experience as a UI Engineer within a digital or financial services organization.
• 5+ Years’ experience working in a Scaled Agile/Agile, process improvement and LEAN thinking environment.
• Demonstrated experience with relevant systems (JIRA, Confluence, APIs, AEM).
• Subject Matter Expertise of online/mobile channels, including technical, market place and customer considerations.
• Adobe Certified Expert certification for CQ and AEM development an asset.

What additional experience do you bring?
• Experience using/configuring Author and Publish instances, Dispatchers, etc.
• Experience in Sling, JCR Repository, Solr and Apache Felix.
• Experience with Responsive Design and mobile development using best practice and modern frameworks (Twitter Bootstrap and Angular).
• Experience with HTML, JavaScript, CSS, LESS, Sass, Ruby, Ajax, Java/JSP, UML, XML and Wireframes.
• Solid understanding of navigation and GUI for maximizing UI usability.
• SDLC including design, testing, deployment, and documentation activities.
• Managing source codes using repositories such as SVN, GITHUB and TFS.
• Experience with Jenkins or similar continuous integration tools.
