Our client in the insurance industry is currently looking for an Underwriter Assistant to work in their Markham Office. This role has the potential for extension.


•Assist Underwriter, Underwriting Assistants and Loss Control team.
•Help update Databases; process Renewals, New Business, Endorsements, and Reports.
•Assist the engineering underwriting team with the processing of documents including providing administrative and clerical support for underwriters.
•Data entry to the RTM/Calligo system.
• Filing, faxing and photocopying underwriting materials.
•Processing Risk Inspection System and Loss control reports and other assigned duties.
•Working as part of a team is essential, as well as meeting deadlines.

• Work for a well-known insurance company
• Earn up to $16.81 per hour
• Markham Toronto
• 3-month contract, with the possibility of extension

•6 months to 1 year of data entry experience
•Comfortable with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Explorer, Outlook and Lotus Notes
•Detail oriented
