    Our client is looking for a bilingual candidate that has great attention to detail, works well in a team and has strong Excel abilities.


    You will provide a variety of clerical and technical support to assist a small underwriting team, this person is
    critical to the successful completion of all daily tasks.

    Our goal is to provide exceptional customer service and optimize productivity throughout the life cycle
    of the Treaty Renewal Process. This person is a motivated and an energetic team player that thrive in a
    fast-paced environment. Provides clerical support to assist the underwriting team in managing new and
    renewal treaty.

    Responsibilities
    *Upon receiving submission, the underwriting assistant will download the information
    *Set up renewal Executive Summary, by compiling data and analytics from the submission
    received
    *Document and communicate the completion of the file set up to the underwriting team
    *Compare expiring contract wording against renewal proposition to identify differences for the
    underwriter.
    *Maintain accurate, up-to-date records within underwriting software programs by verifying all
    documents and data for accuracy and completion
    *Provides other technical and clerical support as required by underwriting staff and
    management.

    Qualifications
    *High School Diploma with 5 or more years of experience in the (re)insurance industry or as an
    administrative assistant, or a related job is a plus
    *French Reading and preferably writing
     Strong attention to detail to ensure the accurate collection of information and entry into
    databases
    *Strong communications and interpersonal skills
    *Ability to work efficiently on computer systems and to learn new systems quickly.
    *Strong ability to use Excel and familiarity with the Microsoft suite of programs.
    *Ability to prioritize job responsibilities to meet deadlines effective priority and time
    management.
